Dangerous Transsexual Bills Targeting Businesses,
Boy Scouts and Foster Parents Pass California State Senate
Pro-Family Citizens Urged To Flood Gray Davis With Calls

Don't let Governor Gray Davis be like the wicked Democrats who passed
harmful
transsexual bills today in the California State Senate. And don't be like
the
quiet Republican senators who didn't put up a fight. Two bills passed today
would force cross-dressing and transsexuality in all its phases upon
businessess, Boy Scout councils and foster parents.

As you contemplate the recall election being scheduled for this fall, use
your
positive energy now to call and urge your friends to call Gray Davis. The
recall effort means if a flood of people contact Davis, who is nervous about
these bills, he could veto them this summer to try to avoid losing his job
in
October. Please do your part -- contact Gray Davis immediately and urge him
to
veto AB 196 and AB 458.

TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION
Call, fax and email Governor Gray Davis. Urge him to veto AB 196 and AB
458,
outrageous transsexual bills that force the drag-queen agenda on to
businesses,
Boy Scout councils and foster homes. There needs to be an outpouring of
voices
against these intolerant bills that push transsexuality and attack the
sensibilities of average people!

AB 196 (Leno) authorizes government fines of $150,000, without a trial,
against
California businesses -- including religious businesses, day care centers,
schools, restaurants, etc. -- property owners, and nonreligious, nonprofit
organizations such as the Boy Scouts of America if they refuse to hire or
rent
to a cross-dresser, a transsexual, or a drag queen. Businesses would be
forced
to allow a male employee to wear a woman's dress, make up and wig in front
of
customers and their children.

This anything-goes definition of "gender" tramples freedom of conscience and
targets innocent businesses and organizations that work with children. AB
196
is intolerance at its worst -- using the power of the State to force people
to
accept a radical agenda that goes against their dearly-held beliefs.

AB 196 passed the Senate floor this afternoon on a 23-11 vote, Democrats
voting
yes, Republicans voting no. Lesbian senator Sheila Kuehl (D-Santa Monica)
presented the bill, but her's was the only voice as zero Republicans spoke
against it, in contrast to the several Assembly Republicans who had spoken
against the bill in the lower house. Gray Davis is nervous about this bill,
and
AB 196 should not have passed without a public fight. It goes to the
Governor's
desk.

AB 458 (Chu) requires all foster parents to endure "sensitivity training" to
make them support any sexual behavior or expressions among foster children.
This includes supporting a boy dressing like a girl around other children in
the
house and other children at school, and taking the boy to the doctor to get
"hormone treatment." The net result of this bill will be less foster
parents
and foster homes for needy children. Most foster parents are persons of
faith
would would rather quit than submit to the government's sexual invasion
against
the sanctity of the home.

AB 458 passed on a 22-11 vote, Democrats voting yes and Republicans voting
no.
The bill will return to the Assembly floor for a concurrence vote before
going
to Gov. Gray Davis for his signature or veto.

Call, fax and email Gov. Gray Davis today. Urge him to veto AB 196 and AB
458.
And please remember to forward this email alert to others.
